Apple introduced the iPhone Duo, one of its initial new products under the leadership of new CEO John Ternus, during its Surprise and Shine event in Cupertino, California, on Friday. It marks Apple’s first foldable phone, though it’s just the newest in a wave of flexible smartphones to reach the market.
The iPhone Duo unfolds to reveal a 7.6-inch display and folds down to a portable passport-sized form factor. The shifting shape enables split-screen multitasking and Apple Pencil support, and introduces a range of new features and animations in Apple iOS 27.
