Apple rarely provides advance notice to the media before unveiling new products. However, invitations for the company’s upcoming event, scheduled for October 13 at 9 a.m. ET in New York, have now been distributed.
Sometimes crystal balls appear on X — this time shared by Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. Joswiak’s post features a time-lapse of someone embroidering Apple’s logo with the date onto fabric. The recurring «Welcome Home» theme strongly indicates that Apple will introduce several new Home products next week.
Industry rumors suggest a new Home hub with a design reminiscent of the classic iMac G4 — the one inspired by the lamp from Pixar’s 1986 short film Luxo, Jr. There may also be refreshed HomePod Mini and Apple TV set-top box offerings, with updated hardware aimed at managing AI capabilities and expanded color options for the small speaker, including pink and green variants.
