NBA Playoffs 2025: How to Watch Celtics vs. Knicks, Warriors vs. Timberwolves Tonight

It doesn’t look good for the defending champs. The Boston Celtics face elimination tonight against the New York Knicks and will need to find a way to extend the series without Jayson Tatum, who tore his Achilles tendon on Monday in the Celtics’ game 4 loss. Awaiting the winner of the Celtics-Knicks series in the Eastern Conference finals are the Indiana Pacers, who knocked out the Cleveland Cavaliers last night.

In tonight’s second game, the Timberwolves can eliminate the Golden State Warriors, who will once again be without Stephen Curry, who’s missed the last three games with a hamstring injury. There’s a chance Curry could return for Sunday’s game 6, but the Warriors must win tonight to keep their season going.

Tonight’s action gets started at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT). You can watch both games on TNT or TruTV or stream on Max. Here’s everything you need to know to watch or stream the NBA playoffs.

How to watch the NBA playoffs

The NBA playoffs will be shown across ABC, ESPN and TNT/TruTV. You can watch the games with a cable subscription or a live TV streaming service.

Three of the five major services offer all four channels. Fubo lacks TNT, which shows a big portion of the NBA playoffs, making Fubo a poor choice for hoops fans. You can also watch the TNT/TruTV broadcasts of playoff games with Max.

All the live TV streaming services above allow you to cancel anytime and require a solid internet connection. Looking for more information? Check out our live TV streaming services guide.
