YouTube Is Now Streaming Iconic Episodes of Sesame Street

YouTube has just dropped a lot of Sesame Street content, including classics like the first-ever episode, which aired in 1969. More than 100 full-length episodes of the beloved educational kids’ series are now streaming free across both the main Sesame Street YouTube channel and the Sesame Street Classics channel, according to YouTube.

The episodes span recent seasons and classic moments, including the reveal of Snuffleupagus, Fred Rogers’ visit to the neighborhood and the series premiere that introduced Big Bird, Bert and Ernie. The episodes are part of a previously announced partnership between YouTube and Sesame Workshop, which makes YouTube the largest digital library of Sesame Street content.

You can watch a lot of Sesame Street content on YouTube, but for the latest season, you’ll want to look at Netflix. Sesame Street season 56 premiered in November, with episodes debuting the same day across local PBS stations and PBS Kids digital platforms.
