Your 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket Packages, Explained

Before the NFL season kicks off on Sept. 4, some of us cord-cutters may still need time to sort through sports packages. YouTube’s NFL Sunday Ticket is enticing, but not every plan is the same; there are different prices, programming lineups and multiple ways to pay for it.

Sunday Ticket is available bundled with a YouTube TV live TV streaming subscription or as a standalone offering purchased as a YouTube Primetime Channel. If you get YouTube TV’s base plan so you can watch national and local games on channels like CBS, ESPN or Fox, it costs $83 a month — that’s in addition to the price of Sunday Ticket. The YouTube Primetime Channel option only grants access to Sunday afternoon out-of-market games, not local or national matchups.

The other thing to know is that you can get a Sunday Ticket month-to-month subscription, which gives you the flexibility to cancel whenever you want. This is different from the Sunday Ticket season pass, which can be paid in full or through auto-renewed monthly installments. With the season pass, there are no refunds or cancellations. You’ll be billed whether you watch the entire season or not.

To help you decipher what you get and how to get it for the 2025-26 season, we’re breaking down subscription prices, discounts and which games are available to stream. Want NFL Red Zone? We’ve got you covered. Unsure which pass is for you because you’re a new or returning customer? We’ll tell you which options to sign up for, and how much it’ll cost.

If you’ve never had NFL Sunday Ticket, you’re considered a newbie and can take advantage of lower pricing than returning customers. You may want to double-check your Gmail accounts to see if you’ve ever signed up for a package in the past.

What about discounts on NFL Sunday Ticket?

Students who are 18 and older and enrolled in a college or university may be eligible for a discount. However, the student deal is only offered for the standalone Sunday Ticket via YouTube Primetime Channels, and costs $119 (it’s $10 more if you want RedZone).

Otherwise, promos for Sunday Ticket packages will occasionally drop throughout the season. Currently, there’s a special discount running until Sept. 5 that cuts the price down from $276 to $222 for new customers. But, if you’d rather wait to buy a pass or a month-to-month subscription, be on the lookout for deals later on during NFL season.
