Samsung is the obvious choice if you’re looking to grab an unlocked model of the new Galaxy Z Fold 7. You’ll automatically save $300 on the 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB models. Plus, you’ll get access to the exclusive mint color. Significant savings can be achieved when trading in an old phone. The latest Samsung phones will net you up to $1,000 in trade-in credit, while devices from Apple, Google, Motorola and other brands can save you hundreds as well.
Amazon has knocked $300 off the 256GB model and $320 off select colors of the 512GB model of the Z Fold 7, which drops the prices down to $1,700 and $1,800, respectively. The online retailer also has its own trade-in program, where you can save up to $725 in exchange for your old phone. Devices from Samsung, Apple, Google, Motorola and OnePlus are all accepted.
Best Buy is offering $300 off all configurations of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 right now, and you’ll get an extra $100 off if you opt to activate the phone through Verizon. Trading in your old phone at Best Buy could also knock up to $1,000 off the starting price. Devices from Samsung, Apple, Google and many smaller brands are accepted, though only the latest Samsung devices will net you the full discount.
AT&T customers can save up to $1,100 with an eligible trade-in, which knocks the 256GB model down to $25 per month and the 512GB model to $28 per month. You’ll get the full discount for any Samsung phones valued at $95 or more, and even older and damaged devices valued at just $35 or more will still net you $800 in credit. The discount will be applied as bill credits over 36 months.
Those trading in an old phone and adding a new line on Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate will save $1,000, which drops the starting price to $28 per month. You can also buy one and save $1,100 on a second with the activation of at least one new Unlimited Ultimate line.
Customers on a qualifying unlimited plan can also get a free NFL Sunday Ticket membership — a $480 value — with the purchase, though this offer is only available to new subscribers.
T-Mobile is offering some significant savings on the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, but the discounts will depend on the plan.
