It’s Year 3 in Carolina for former first overall pick Bryce Young, who showed some improvement last season in head coach Dave Canales’ first year.
It’s Year 5 in Jacksonville for Trevor Lawrence, but he’ll have a new head coach calling plays for him this season in Liam Coen, who took the job in Jacksonville after a successful season as the OC in Tampa Bay.
And Lawrence will also have a new weapon in two-way star Travis Hunter, but it remains to be seen how much time the rookie will divide his time at receiver on offense and cornerback on defense.
