Motorola has a bevy of announcements at CES 2026, not the least of which is a special edition of its Razr 2025 clamshell foldable that celebrates the biggest soccer (or football) games happening this year.
The Motorola Razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition certainly resembles a phone inspired by the world’s most popular sport. It has its own distinctive look, with multiple shades of soccer field green in a swirling design on the back. It also has some unique software personalizations, like wallpapers, a ringtone and a FIFA watermark.
The foldable will be available in the US starting February 12 for $700 either on Motorola’s website or through Verizon as the exclusive carrier, which is offering new and current customers up to $600 off with trade-ins of select phones (though they’ll be accepted in any condition).
The FIFA World Cup 26 Edition’s specs and price line up with the Motorola Razr 2025 released back in May, from its 3.6-inch outer display and 6.9-inch inner screen to the MediaTek 7400X chip and its pair of rear cameras (a 50-megapixel main and 13-megapixel ultrawide). Last year’s standard Razr also came out in a vivid green that resembles the background hue of the FIFA edition, but the multi-colored design is exclusive to the soccer-themed phone.

The other difference may not lie with capabilities, but with certification: the standard foldable is IPX8 certified for dust resistance, but not water resistance, whereas the FIFA edition is IP48, which means it’s rated to protect against solid objects up to 1mm in diameter. (Most phones have IP68 ratings, which protect against even smaller dust particles. The only foldable phone with that level of dust resistance is the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold.)
