‘Marty Supreme’ Has an HBO Max Streaming Release Date

Oscar best picture nominee Marty Supreme arrives on HBO Max in one month. Directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary and Tyler Okonma (aka Tyler, The Creator), the sports dramedy is set in the 1950s and centers on Chalamet’s table tennis player Marty Mauser, who «goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness,» per an A24 synopsis.

While it didn’t win any Oscars, the ping-pong epic nabbed nine total nominations, including best director, best actor and best original screenplay. In addition to Marty Supreme, HBO Max subscribers will eventually be able to stream A24 films such as The Drama, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, and The Death of Robin Hood, starring Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer, as part of a renewed deal.
