Atlético Madrid will be looking to upend their city rivals’ title challenge on Sunday as they head to the Bernabéu to take on Real Madrid.

Real, meanwhile, know they can’t afford any further slip-ups as they looks to reduce Barcelona’s four-point lead. Los Blancos neverthless come into this match off the back of a morale-boosting 5-1 aggregate victory over Manchester City in the Champions League.
The reverse fixture between these two teams back in September saw Atlético hand Real its first La Liga defeat of the season under then-boss Xabi Alonso, with Diego Simeone’s side mounting a pulsating comeback to win 5-2 at the Metropolitano.
