There’s also always a distinct possibility that the AMD keynote will unveil new Ryzen chip technology in addition to any AI announcements, shaking up the internal specs on some of the latest and greatest computers.

AMD’s keynote will come hours after rivals Nvidia and Intel have shared their new CPU and AI plans at CES 2026, so the reception to these announcements will no doubt be colored by what happens earlier in the day. Here’s everything you need to know about AMD’s keynote, including when it starts, how to watch it and what you can expect to hear about during the speech.

Here’s what to expect from the AMD keynote presentation

While we don’t know exactly what Su is going to talk about during her keynote presentation, we can follow some breadcrumbs to identify the broad strokes ahead of time.

We know that presenting new AI technology will be a large part of the keynote — even though AMD has kept most of its announcements under wraps, the company’s official website says the speech will address «the AMD vision for delivering future AI solutions — from cloud to enterprise, edge and devices.»

A press release issued by the Consumer Technology Association provides further insights into the potential announcements covered in the keynote speech.

AMD’s processor technology will be an important part of the keynote, as Su is slated to speak about the use of AMD EPYC processors in AI data centers and detail how Ryzen CPU technology is changing the worlds of AI and gaming. It’s unlikely that we’ll see a victory lap with no material follow up, so we might expect to hear about new Ryzen CPUs during the event.
