That said, the deal is not quite as good as ExpressVPN would have you believe. For example, the 81% savings ExpressVPN references for its Basic two-year plan is based on that plan’s monthly rate ($12.99) multiplied by 28. In reality, the $68.40 sale price for the initial 28 months is actually a 30% savings compared to the $97.72 you’d normally pay for the initial term of the Basic two-year plan.»
Here are the details. This deal brings the Basic plan to just over $2 per month, if you choose a 24-month contract. Keep in mind that you’ll pay $68 upfront. It auto-renews at $100 per year unless you cancel first. ExpressVPN will also throw in an extra four months, for a total of 28 months of protection. The Basic plan protects up to 10 devices from malicious sites and ads. If you prefer the 12-month option, you’ll pay $52 upfront and receive an extra three months of service for free.
The Advanced plan costs $88 for 28 months. This amounts to $3 per month. It auto-renews at $120 per month. This plan protects up to 12 devices from malicious sites, ads and trackers. It also protects up to seven identities and offers ExpressMailGuard. The 12-month option Advanced plan costs $63 upfront for 15 months.
Finally, the Pro plan costs $147 for 28 months, which works out to just $5 per month. This one auto-renews at $200 per year. Pro protects up to 14 devices, offers unlimited ExpressMailGuard. It also offers protection from malicious sites, ads, trackers and more. The 12-month option costs $94.
