In 2025, it felt like absolutely everyone was tuning into Stranger Things, The Pitt and K-Pop Demon Hunters. Now, it’s time for the year’s most-watched streaming titles to get some recognition.
On Wednesday, Nielsen revealed the winners of its 2nd annual ARTEY Awards. The company hands out awards «to the streaming title that captured the most viewing minutes throughout the year within a given category,» according to a Nielsen release. According to the media audience measurement firm, audiences spent about 16.7 trillion minutes streaming in 2025, up 19% year over year.
The Australian animated hit Bluey ranked as Nielsen’s Top Overall Streaming Title and Top Acquired Series, earning 45.2 billion viewing minutes. It was also the most-watched streaming title of 2024.

Stranger Things placed as 2025’s Top Streaming Original with 40 billion minutes. Separate ARTEY Awards for Top Kids Movie and Top Streaming Movie for General Audiences went to K-Pop Demon Hunters and Happy Gilmore 2, which captured 20.6 billion and 7.1 billion viewing minutes, respectively.
The Pitt (11.4 billion minutes) scored an ARTEY for Top New Original Drama Series. Running Point (5.1 billion) collected the award for a New Comedy. And Sean Combs: The Reckoning (4.8 billion) won for Top New Original Unscripted.
Gunsmoke topped Nielsen’s Most-Binged title category — which focused on shows with 50 or more episode libraries. Seth MacFarlane won Streaming Icon of the Year for his body of work that «drives significant, sustained viewership across platforms.»
