When CNET’s Lori Grunin reviewed the latest SteelSeries Apex Pro keyboard’s abilities, she said, «Both Protection Mode and Rapid Tap are in the SteelSeries GG software, which means they should probably work with older Apex Pro models. Grunin calls the Nova 5X «an entry-premium wireless headset intended for use with PCs, consoles and most anything else with a USB-C port, plus limited Bluetooth.» Her verdict? «Given that the speakers are the same as others in the Nova headset line, I’m not surprised they sound pretty similar: really good.»
Nova 5X users also get access to the Sonar app, SteelSeries’ option for tweaking two equalizer profiles to get exactly the audio environment desired, no matter what platform a user is playing on.
I also spotted a few enticing SteelSeries mice deals. For wireless fans looking for a premium model, the SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless mouse is $50 off, bringing it all the way down to $70. In addition to that low-sweat RGB design, SteelSeries says the mouse has a 200-hour battery life and switches that’ll last for a lifetime of clicks, plus an optical gaming sensor designed with PixArt. Or for a more complex model with extra buttons, the Aerox 5 mouse is discounted to below $100.
Gamers who want to save more money and stick with always-reliable wired mice should take a look at the SteelSeries Rival 5, now discounted by $20 and down to $40, with its 18,000 CPI TrueMove Air optical sensor.
