We’ve all done the infinite scroll on the Netflix app, spending an hour looking for something before giving up. Sometimes there are just too many shows to choose from, and the last thing anyone wants is to get a few hours into a show that’s not worth finishing. To save you and your precious time, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite shows on Netflix, from some of the streamer’s most iconic flagship series like Stranger Things and The Crown to reliable classics like Gilmore Girls and Scandal and underrated or critically acclaimed originals you can’t find anywhere else. We’ll let you know about series that have just arrived or are about to leave, too, so you can prioritize your watch-list.
Since it’s the start of the new year, let’s talk about what we’re most excited for in the next couple months. Later in January, we’re getting a brand-new season of Bridgerton focused around the second-oldest of the Bridgerton offspring, Benedict. Until then, we’re watching past seasons in preparation. We’re also gearing up for the release of the upcoming Peaky Blinders film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, out in March, by checking in with that show to jog our memory. And a second season of Beef is coming out this year, too, so now is the perfect time to check out the Emmy Award-winning first season if you haven’t already.
